The long awaited announcement of RAC’s network review was delivered recently. The review was carried out by RAC to ensure a long term solution was available for their customers, in the light of increasing legislation in the vehicle recovery market place.
A radical reshape of the country saw RAC working with a smaller number of key contractors covering larger areas.
Westbourne Motors has achieved record success signing a multi million pound contract over three years. The contract starts on February 13th 2008.
RAC reviewed the network based on past and current performance, professionalism, innovation and future plans for growth.
The success means that Westbourne Motors becomes the largest single contractor in southern England operating for RAC.
Speaking briefly after arrival of the news, Managing Director, Richard Colburn commented “ This announcement is testimony to all the hard work that our people offer RAC each and every day of the year, without which we would have not have achieved this success. RAC have awarded this contract as they believe our forward thinking and proven ability to cover larger areas are both essential to offer their customers a long term assured recovery service.”
